THE ENCOUNTER COLLECTION - STEPHEN KENN

About Stephen Kenn

Born and raised in Canada, artist and designer Stephen Kenn moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to pursue his passion for design. After working in denim and bag design, he turned his eye to the world of furniture. Inspired by the simple design aesthetic of the mid-century era and the stories inherent in vintage WWII military fabrics, he created The Inheritance Collection. The collection is designed and produced entirely in Los Angeles and Stephen is present for every step of the production process, from first sketch to completed piece. In 2013 Stephen returned to the world of bag design, releasing the Encounter Collection, a collection of leather mens bags that were inspired by the life lessons that a father leaves to his son.

INHERITANCE COLLECTION | BY STEPHEN KENN

"LA-based designer Stephen Kenn created this unique furniture collection using repurposed military fabrics. The Inheritance Collection features rugged pieces that are long lasting and have a very utilitarian aesthetic, they are crafted from welded steel frames and feature a supportive structure created by simply weaving strapping through the frame and attaching it with leather belts. Perfect for a bachelor pad. Check out the wonderful video explaining the concept."

Urban Outlaw - Rebel Porsche Customizer - The Documentary

Remember the trailer posted earlier? Now we have the full documentary, unmissable inspiring.
A portrait of Magnus Walker, the rebel Porsche customizer who turned a hobby into an obsession, and an obsession into a successful business. From a workshop in downtown Los Angeles, Magnus obsessively harvests fragments from donor 911s, grafting them onto vintage frames to create one-off automobiles with the spirit of Ferdinand Porsche but an ethos entirely his own.

The Laces Company...

Just arrived to the market, The Laces Company, a recently established Portuguese brand, pretends to rock this season. With a fun mood and a new concept at point of sale, they aim to fill a supply gap in the market.

From Sweden with heritage

This season the designer of H & M, Andreas Löwenstam, has created a collection of 21 pieces, based on the legacy left by Mauritz Widforss brand acquired in 1968 by Erling Persson. This collection aims to capture the attention of the male public for the brand in order to give a new momentum to the men's department. Better quality and higher prices are expected. I can not wait to see live.
